I bought this to use as a guest bed on occaison but once we got it, we were so disapointed with the mattress that it's sitting in the basement unused. It is very uncomfortable and hard. I thought with all the good reviews it was a good bet but it turned out to be a huge disapointment. It also smells very chemically.

Got this mattress for our parents to sleep on while visiting us. They liked it, said it did not hurt their backs (which is important). After they left we ended up sleeping on it ourselves. It is a bit soft as for my taste, but very comfortable and holds its shape so far. I am very happy with this purchase. I have been using it for more then a month.
Service and delivery comments:
The only problem I had with this mattress was delivery. FedEX did not want to deliver it, so they kept it on their truck for two days and only after numerous calls did they bring it to me. FedEX guy wanted me to help him bring it upstairs (I am 5'1) and I had to negociate with him to ask the second delivery guy to help him. It took them three minutes to bring the mattress up after all. I was not happy with this service.

I primarily use this product as a couch in my apartment, but it also serves as my guest bed. I find that it is extremely comfortable and have too often become so comfortable that I will fall asleep while watching tv. The only thing I would possibly recommend to go along with this product is possibly a cover to go over it (that is, if you're concerned about appearance, which I am not).

I have this product in our extra living room that is also used as a guest room. This mattress is very comfortable (sitting and laying down) and looks nice too. One thing I have noticed, and read in a comment before I bought it, is that it tends to slide down when the futon is in the upright position. That is really the only downside.
