I bought this to use as a guest bed mattress. I like foam mattresses. My husband and I have one from [...] that we have had for 5 years and are so deeply satisfied with, we thought we would get another one. This time, we tried a different brand. Bad idea. I chose this particular one because it was the least expensive, yes, but ALSO because it was the ONLY one that said it had "Firm" support. Well, our first guest was a 100 pound teenage girl. She has spent 5 nights sleeping on it, and there is a dip in the middle so deep that she rolls into it at night. I am in the process of trying to return this piece of garbage so I can go back to [...] (a 4 hour drive from where we live, no less) and get something that will withstand years of even heavier, more substantial guests.

Was strong in the beginning, but it quickly looses its thickness. You have to periodically have to flip it so you won't feel the bars of the futon frame. Not worth the price.

I purchased a wood futon with mattress for about the same price and it far exceeds this mattress. Uncomfortable to sit on and you can feel the futon springs when you try to use for sleeping. Definitely not what I expected. Sorry I will make no further purchases here.

The mattress is comfortable and attractive, but the ties are comming out. I have contacted the merchant for a repair kit but was sent this survey instead of a reply. I have only had the product for a month. It should be of better quality than that, especiallly if it carries the Serta name.
